Open Tube 2 has been designed to provide the optimal background for small product shots. As the name implies it is the outline of an open, cut tube that provided the idea for the background shape: as the bottom is a constantly curved and continuous plane section and, at the same time, is broader from front to back so that it is perfect for the perspective of a shooting lens.
 
With dimensions of only 19.7 x 25.5 x 12”, the Open Tube 2 is very deceiving. But at a second glance it reveals an amazingly simple design. The table frame is a well designed corrugated board of fold-up construction, the background is a suitable shaped pre-cut cardboard. This shooting table, designed for smaller objects, is not only extremely light, but can be easily disposed of and inexpensively replaced if necessary.
