GALERIE Smooth Pearl Paper combines the excellent instant dry properties of a nanoceramic product with the elegant finish of a pearl print. This 280/m2 heavyweight inkjet paper offers superb image quality and consistency and has excellent compatibility with all inkjet printers designed for high quality photo output. The pearl surface eliminates glare and minimized fingerprints giving the true look of a photographic prints. The nanoceramic technology use din the coating of Smooth Pearl Paper created the instant dry effect. As with all nanoceramic coated papers, a certain amount of fading can be seen after a relatively short period of time. ILFORD GALERIE Smooth Pearl Paper is comparable with the other leading nanoceramic products on the market. To ensure image stability *, it is advisable to fame the image behind glass. Under these storage conditions your print will last up to 10 years **, depending on the ink used.

* As with all microceramic (instant dry) coated media, ILFORD GALERIE Smooth Pearl can be susceptible to 'gas fading' due to air bourne pollutants. Covering the image with glass for example, will ensure that a print from a dye based printer will last for up to 10 years depending on the manufacturer's ink. Initial accelerated testing indicates that a GALERIE Smooth Paper product will last in excess of 30 years using a pigment ink desktop printer.
