At the heart of the FinePix S5 Pro is the Real Photo Processor (RPT) Pro, with two levels of noise reduction coupled to an improved Super CCD SR Pro. Its Super CCD SR Pro provides 400% greater dynamic range with 6.17 million Standard (S) pixels and 6.17 million Range (R) or highlight pixels working together, much like the silver crystals in film do. The S5 Pro also provides a post-capture face zoom function with Fujifilm’s exclusive Face Detection (fd) technology designed to reduce time spent confirming sharpness and detail in a subjects face. In addition, commercial shooters will enjoy additional film simulation modes, dynamic range options, password protected lock out features, and bar code reader connectivity. The FinePix S5 Pro is compatible with Nikon SB-600 and SB-800 Flash units and Nikon CPU lens (Except IX-Nikkor), D or G type AF lenses, Vibration Reduction (VR) is also supported.
